So often when fashion people talk about men's American Classics it always boils down to Ralph Lauren and a Ray Ban Aviator (read: White & Preppy.) These are classics, but I grew up with little money in East L.A. and hopefully that perspective made me more clever about style. I did have a couple Polos, but there are some things never mentioned in GQ that are so iconic to me. And as fashion trends come and go... I always end up turning to them. I'm in the process of aquiring each again and I want to document and discuss it. Over the decades I've done different colors and modern variations, but I just turned 36 and I going back to classic black. Wednesday, April 1, 2009
